i'm a 34 year old female body piercer/tattoo artist who owns my own tattoo shop here in meridian, MS. check us out at www.myspace.com/wonderlandtattoo i also run a non-profit ferret rescue shelter from my home---i currently have 12 fuzzy ferrets running around here---please support your local no-kill animal shelters!!!! if you or anyone you know has or knows of a ferret in need please contact me at www.myspace.com/ms_ferret_rescue or your local ferret rescue organization. DO NOT surrender ferrets to humane societies,a.s.p.c.a, or animal control offices...99.9% they will kill ferrets!!!! they do not have facilities or neccesaries to house ferrets, so upon surrender to these types of euthanizing "shelters" ferrets will be killed!!!so please make sure if you need to surrender your ferret to make sure you surrender to a NO KILL facility or to a ferret specific shelter. Also... please do research before getting a ferret as a pet, they are not like a cat that'll take care of itself practically or a hampster that you can stick in an aquarium and pet every now & then...they require an immense amount of time, money and love!!! our shelters across the states are filled to capacity with unwanted ferrets because people bought them on a whim without doing the proper research into whether a ferret was right for thier lifestyle!!! thanks....
